Angolan Official Defends Dialogue in Conflict Resolution

The Head of the Angolan delegation to the meeting between Angola and Congo, ambassador Joaquim do Espírito Santo, defended last Saturday in Pointe Noire the need to dialogue as the only means to resolve conflicts involving countries.

Joaquim do Espírito Santo - who is also director for Africa, Middle East and Regional Organisation - was speaking at the closing ceremony of the works carried out from 25 to 28 February in the Congolese city of Pointe Noire, where experts from both countries' Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior, military and border police chiefs analysed the incidents recorded in the locality of Pangui (Congo) and Miconje (Angola) on 11 October 2013.
