Kenya: Call to Back Private Schools

KISUMU County education stakeholders have been asked to work with private schools within the region. Golden Ellite School headteacher Elizabeth Mutua yesterday said working together will improve education standards.

Mutua asked the government to put aside funds for laptops for private schools. "If the government cannot fully provide laptops to private schools, they should issue funds," she said on the phone. Mutua said selection for Form One does not favour private schools.
