Kenya: Lamu Elders Plead With Officials for Title Deeds

MORE than 23 elders from Ziwa la Mambo in Konge area, Lamu Island want the county government to intervene and assist them acquire title deeds.

Speaking to the Star on Monday, the elders said certain individuals are threatening people to vacate their more than 30-acre piece of land claimed to be public land.
