Chief Justice Francis Korkpor Tuesday renewed his administration's commitment to working with the media in the discharge of their respective duties amidst public outcry over outdated libel laws that continue to haunt media houses and some practitioners of which has led to the detention of journalists.
He made the call during a meeting held at his office with the new leadership of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) headed by its President, Mr. Abdullai A. Kamara, along with Vice President, Mr. Jallah Greenfield, Secretary General, Mr. Kaiheneh Sengbe, Assistant Secretary General, Mr. Daniel Nyakonah and members of the Judicial Reporters Association.
