Kenya: British Chamber of Commerce in Kenya Launch

The British Chamber of Commerce in Kenya was launched with a party at the Air House on Gitanga Road in Nairobi.

The new Chambers of Commerce will assisting UK companies trade and export in Kenya in collaboration with existing Kenyan companies and businesses.

Speaking at the event the Deputy High Commissioner Dr John Murton said: "We are delighted to re-enforce our commitment to increasing trade with Kenya to the benefit of both our countries by today launching the British Chamber of Commerce in Kenya."

The event was attended by business men and woman as well as the Head of DFID Kenya Lisa Phillips.
