Nigeria: Kidnappers of Jonathan's Foster Father Reject N30 Million Ransom

The extended family of President Goodluck Jonathan has resorted to prayers for the release of the 70 years old foster father of the president, Chief Inengite Nitabai, following the alleged rejection of N30million offered by the family to the kidnappers.

The septuagenarian was kidnapped last week from his home in Otuoke community of Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State by over 10 armed gunmen. The kidnappers had earlier demanded for the sum of N500million as ransom for his release.
