Egypt: Three Dead, 28 Wounded in Friday Clashes

Cairo — Three people were killed and 28 were wounded in clashes across the country on Friday, the health ministry said.

The wounded were taken to local hospitals to recieve medical attention.

An alliance that supports ousted President Mohamed Mursi and his Muslim Brotherhood had called for week-long demonstrations.

The interior ministry said that 47 Brotherhood supporters were arrested in the clashes.
