Ethiopia: Govt Employee, Two Others Charged With Misappropriating Medical Equipment

The Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission brought charges against three individuals claiming that the defendants had been caught red-handed

trying to move seven different medical equipment using an Isuzu car with the plate number 37987, worth more than 3.3 million birr. Prosecutors filed the charges on March 5th stating that one of the defendants is the employee of the Federal Drug Fund and Supply Agency by the name of Addis Belay and two other individuals; Hussein Mani and Tesfamaryam Tadesse were caught trying to move the equipment.
