Nigeria: Alison-Madueke Accuses Marketers of Fuel Diversion

The controversy over the cause of current fuel scarcity continued Sunday as the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, accused the marketers of diverting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol for other uses.

Speaking during an unscheduled inspection of some filling stations in Lagos State Sunday, the minister said the country had enough PMS to meet the domestic demand.
