Kenya: Project Boosts Mau Forest

The Ewaso Ngiro South River Basin Development Authority has launched a bamboo propagation project. It is aimed at ensuring conservation efforts of the Mau Forest are heightened.

Managing director Charles Sunkuli said they will produce adequate seedlings to be offered to farmers. He said planting trees will reduce water loss in the forest. Sunkuli was speaking on Saturday.
