Mogadishu — Federal Government of Somalia's Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed spoke on military offensives against Al Shabaab in Bay, Bakool and Gedo regions of southwestern Somalia during a well organized ceremony in Mogadishu on Saturday evening, Garowe Online reports.
Mohamed disclosed at the ceremony marking International Women's Day that his government has planned to dislodge Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab militants from the areas remaining under their control.
