Egypt: Transport Minister - EGP 4 Billion for Roads, Bridges Investment in Upper Egypt

Four billion pounds are allocated to roads and bridges investment in Upper Egypt, said Transportation Minister Ibrahim al-Domeiry.

This comes within the framework of the Transport Ministry's efforts to contribute to the development of Upper-Egypt to facilitate the transportation of individuals and goods and participate in industrial, agricultural and tourism developmental projects, he said.

These projects include construction of Toshka road, two-way of Beni Suef road and Assiut-Sohag road, Domeiry added.
