Ghana: Forty Years of Environmental Protection - Degraded Water Bodies

The Environmental Protection Agency painted the town red last month celebrating its 40th anniversary as the environmental production watch dog of the Republic of Ghana.

Previously named the Environmental Protection Council it was established in 1974 to "regulate the environment and ensure the implementation of government policies on the environment, and to dedicate itself to continuously improve and preserve the country's environment, while seeking solutions to global environmental issues."
