Nigeria: Yobe Loses First Class Emir in Auto Crash

Damaturu — The Emir of Ngelzarma in Yobe State, Alhaji Muhammadu Mai Yeri Ibn Isa II, died yesterday in a motor accident in Gerei Local Government Area of Adamawa State, aged 49.

The Secretary of Ngelzarma Emirate Council, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Mai Yeri, said he died instantly in the crash which occurred at about 2:00pm. He said remains of the late emir would be laid to rest in Ngelzalma today.
