Sudan: Joint Rebel Attacks in North Darfur Displaced About 27,000

11 March 2014

Ghubeish — The 15,000 people who fled from the joint rebel forces' attacks on El Taweisha and Alliet Jarelnabi in North Darfur to Ghubeish in North Kordofan are living in a dire situation. 12,000 others, who sought refuge in the neighbouring villages of El Taweisha town, are not better off.

They also set a number of houses on fire in El Taweisha."
