Nigeria: Police Minister's Appointment Challenged

Lagos — THE Coalition of Oodua Self-Determination Groups (COSEG), a pressure group, has condemned the recent appointment of Jelili Adeshiyan as Police Affairs Minister as miscarriage of justice.

The group described Adeshiyan's employment as an “insult” on Yoruba people and an “attempt to shield him and his cohorts” from prosecution over the death of the former Attorney General of the Federation, Bola Ige.
