Liberia: Internal Affairs Boss Praises Senate for Passage of Gender Parity Bill

Internal Affairs Minister Morris M. Dukuly has commended members of the Liberian Senate for passing the Bill providing for Gender Parity in government. The Gender Parity Bill, formerly known as Gender Equity Bill, was passed by the Senate on February 25, 2014.

A release from the Internal Affairs Ministry quotes Minister Dukuly as saying that this Bill is timely for the country and in the interest of promoting democracy and peace.
