NAMIBIA's U18 Women's hockey team suffered its first defeat at the African Youth Olympics qualifiers in Lusaka on Thursday when they lost 9-2 to the favourites South Africa.
Namibia were immediately under pressure when South Africa scored two goals in the opening two minutes, but Namibia pulled a goal back by Carla Brits to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
