Nigeria: Court Dismisses Application Challenging Jurisdiction On Incest Case

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday dismissed an application challenging its competence and jurisdiction to determine an incest case brought before it.

The defence was challenging the competence of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP) in prosecuting a 50-year-old man, Yesiri Onajobi, for allegedly impregnating his 14-year-old daughter.
