Liberia: Family Fights Over Grave

While relatives, friends and loved ones gathered at various cemeteries across Monrovia to give the graves of dead relations facelift in commemoration of Decoration Day, hell broke loosed here Wednesday, 12 March specifically at the Jacob Town cemetery in Paynesville when children of the late Moter Sarah Doe Williams got into a serious fight over who has the right to clean their mother's grave, leaving one person with a deep cut on the head.

By an Act of the Legislature, the first Wednesday of March each year is Decoration Day, to be observed as a national holiday day in Liberia.
