Western Sahara: Ten-Year-Old Saharawi Boy, New Victim of Landmine Blast

Mheiriz — Morocco's shame wall in the Western Sahara has caused a new casualty, this time a 10-year-old Saharawi in an antipersonnel landmine blast which occurred Tuesday in the Saharawi liberated territory of Mheiriz, reported the Saharawi Association of Landmine Victims (ASAVIM).

According to the source, the ten-year boy lost one hand and fingers of the other, before being rescued by a team of Action on Armed Violence and evacuated by a helicopter.
