South Africa: Eviction: No More Chase for Jase

So after all is said and done, Jase was the weakest link and, as such, had to take the walk of shame like only a good loser can. But loser is such a harsh word. We prefer to call this young and jolly fellow a team player.

As Lungsta crossed over live to the House, the time had come for us to get on with the business of the day. As the Nominated three stood to attention, Lexi's name was the first to be announced as safe; something that Mzamo neither expected nor desired as he grumpily threw himself over the couch and covered his head with a pillow. Yikes Mzamo! You could have shown a little more tact with your 'fabulousity'. Whichever way, this diva was going nowhere.

Then there was a pause and that all too familiar foreboding murmur came grumbling under. Jase and Sol, kinky Kat’s playmates, stood like a pair of fire-fighters in uniform as Lungsta held their fate in an envelope. The tension was much too thick and it didn’t help when Lungsta asked Kat to choose between Sol and Jase and boy did she draw her spade in the sand when she chose Sol over the former. Good grief girl! Haven't you punished the poor boy enough?

Well, Kat must have been clairvoyant because indeed the road ended here for Jase. While Thando turned on the water works over Jase’s exit, all he got from an ex was a pat on the back to send him on his way. Thando could be heard whispering in his ear that she’d see him soon as she was on her way out too.

Jase leaves the building

As Jase mounted the stage to join Lungster for a chat, the crowd went bananas. The girls were star struck and beside themselves. That’s definitely one thing we’re going to miss about jolly Jase; his drop dead gorgeous looks! Who's going to pull Mzamo into shape now?

His final thoughts centred around Kat and the utter mess they turned out to be. In the end he had only to warn Sol not to lose his heart to Kat because that would be his downfall. He also expressed how, towards the end, he often felt victimised by the guys and this ate away at his tenderness.

Farewell Jase, we wish you all the good girls and the exercising that your heart desires! You were smashing darling!
