Last night's Live Eviction Show was filled with laughter, music and ultimately - tears.
Setting the tone for an unforgettable night was Mzansi's Crown Prince of Rap, AKA. The muso mounted the stage and performed his brand new single "Congratulate", taken off his soon-to-be-released album 'Levels' and had the Live Show audience eating out of the palm of his hand. He was joined on stage by his tour deejay, DJ Fanatic, who held it down on the turntables.
As soon as AKA had performed, Biggie enlisted his services and those of Hip Hop stars Maggz and Da L.E.S. for the Statue Task. At Big Brother's command, the Housemates all froze and didn't move a muscle. That all changed when the gang saw who had just walked in. Kat, who has a huge crush, struggled to keep it together and let out muffled screams under her breath.
Loko, who initially had her eyes closed, threw them wide open in a bid to see what the commotion was all about. When AKA planted a kiss on Kat's cheek as he was leaving, she looked like she was going to explode. So near, yet so far, dearest Kat!
After the fun (and frustrating) Statue Task, it was Eviction time. Lexi's relief came fast, as she was the first to be let off the hook. With tears in her eyes, she hugged her fellow Housemates and prepared for yet another week in the game.Mzamo, on the other hand, didn't look too happy about Lexi dodging the Eviction bullet.
This week, Mzamo takes up position as Head of House and considering how much he dislikes Lexi, it will be quite interesting to see what he will do with his Save and Replace powers.
With only Sol and Jase left to fight it out, Kat was immediately put on the hot seat by Live Show host Lungile, who asked her who she would send packing between her two playmates, Jase and Sol. As expected, the sexy flirt was as candid as they come. "I'm sorry Jase but it would have to be you. We aren't on the best terms right now and you know this. Sorry," she said.
Ouch! And with that, Jase's fate was sealed. The wild-haired cutie took his final walk on the Big Brother Mzansi stage. We'll sure miss that sweet smile and those dance moves Jase!
AKA, Maggz and Da L.E.S then closed the show with an energetic rendition of their hit "Heaven". Big Brother sure knows how to put on a show!
