Nigeria: Oil Workers Reject Sale of Refineries

Lagos — Oil workers on the platform of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas workers (NUPENG) have vowed to resist attempts by the federal government to sell the nation's refineries.

NUPENG President Comrade Igwe Achese who disclosed this in Lagos, stressed that statements by Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke that refineries must be privatised were uncalled for.
