East Africa: Uganda Offers Swahili

Kampala — Uganda through the Ministry of East African Community Affairs has launched free Kiswahili training programs which aimed at stimulating broader interest in the use of Kiswahili in Uganda.

While flagging off the pioneer class of almost 50 Business people at the Management Training and Advisory Center in Kampala the, Minister of EAC affairs in Uganda Shem Bageine said the intention of the training is to stimulate a broader interest in the use of Kiswahili language among the Ugandan business community as an avenue for the conduct of businesses across the borders at the Regional level.
