The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has agreed to boost primary healthcare and agriculture in Borno State and other states in the North-east area of the country, it was revealed Monday.
A statement issued by the Special Adviser on Communications to the state Governor Kashim Shettima, Alhaji Isa Gusau, disclosed that the foundation established by the world's richest man, Mr. Bill Gates, on Sunday, after a special appeal made by the state, agreed to accord accelerated support to the state and other parts of North-east area on primary healthcare and agriculture.
