The Kiambu government on Monday launched free medical services for county residents to promote health. Speaking at the launch in Wangige, Kikuyu subcounty, Governor William Kabogo said medical camps will be held to bring services closer to the residents. "The camps will provide free check-ups, treatment, and give health related information and create awareness," Kabogo said.
He said the county government is committed to promoting and providing quality healthcare solutions to all residents. Meanwhile Kiambu government and Philips EA Ltd have signed an agreement to develop Community Life Centres in the county. The centres are full healthcare facilities powered by solar energy.
