Tunisia: Terrorists, Police Exchange Fire in Sakiet Sidi Youssef

Tunis — Heavy shootout took place, on Wednesday night, between a group of terrorists and National Guard officers at an advance customs clearance location in Sakiet Sidi Youssef (governorate of Kef), Spokesman for the Interior Minister Mohamed Ali Laroui said.

No victims were reported from both sides, he specified.

Contacted by TAP, Laroui explained that joint units of the National Guard and the National Army are conducting a large-scale search operation to track down the terrorists on the run.
