Angola: Agriculture Sector Ensures Support to Peasants in Moxico

The municipal Department of Agriculture in Luau, eastern Moxico Province, will distribute seeds and farming instruments to the associated peasants, assured on Saturday the head of institution, Zacarias Sadjamba.

Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that the Agricultural Department recorded the quantity of seeds and farming instruments that peasants need.

According to Zacarias Sadjamba, this work is aimed to improve crops in the second stage of the 2013/2014 agricultural season, for which it has been prepared 2.000 hectares of land.

The municipal Department of Agriculture controls 416 peasants, distributed in nine associations.
