Kenya: Four Killed, Several Injured in Likoni Church Attack - Reports

Several people have died following a shooting in Likoni, Mombasa.

Four people were shot dead today after suspected al Shabaab gunmen stormed the Joy in Jesus church in Likoni, Mombasa county. Ten others were seriously injured and rushed to hospital. Likoni Police boss Robert Mureithi said the gunmen shot at the worshipers indiscriminately. The church's pastor Philip Masela ia among the dead. The Deputy Nurse in charge of the Likoni District Hospital said the pastor had been shot on his lower abdomen and died due to excessive bleeding as they tried to conduct first aid on him.
