Tanzania: Tato Offers Police Force 15 Motorbikes

Key tourism players have offered more than a dozen motorbikes to the police force in Arusha to support the law enforcers in boosting security in the northern tourism circuit.

Driven by the public-private-partnership (PPP) spirit, Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) extended a total of 15 modern motorcycles worth Tsh 27million to equip police to fight a wave of criminals who now use motorbikes.
