No fewer than 35 persons were reportedly killed Sunday killed in Gbajimba,Guma Local Government Area of Benue State in a renewed fight when suspected Fulani Mercenaries attacked the area.

According to an eyewitness, heavy gun battle continued to rage between the mercenaries and youths in the local government area headquarter who vowed to resist further attack on their settlements.

This latest fighting is coming on the heels of the recent sacking of Tse Ortom-Adorogo, home town of the Minister of State for Trade and Investment, and supervising Minister of Aviation, Dr. Samuel Ortom, after Governor Gabriel Suswam's convoy had also been attacked on that axis by the invaders.
