Ethiopian Journalists Forum Warns Other Associations
By Neamin Ashenafi
The newly established Ethiopian Journalists Forum has warned other media professional associations such as the Ethiopian Journalists Association, Ethiopian Free Journalist Association and Ethiopian National Journalist Union. Betre Yacob, president of the forum, told The Reporter that these associations apart from working and striving for the rights of journalists are working on defaming their organization.
He also said that their mission is to assist journalists and not compete with any other associations, therefore they requested the leaders of those association to understand their mission and to stop their defamation against the forum.
