Matatu owners in Ukambani have pledged to move to court to petition a new traffic rule. Lower Eastern Transporters Welfare Association chairman Stephen Mutuku yesterday said no notice was given for the implementation of the law. The law prohibits public vehicles to operate without carriers. He said they will demand a review of the law. "No public participation was done either with the Matatu owners or the commuters," said Mutuku.
