Nigeria: How Interior Ministry Bungled Immigration Recruitment

More facts have emerged as to how the recruitment exercise at the Nigeria Immigration Service was designed to fail by the Ministry of Interior.

THISDAY checks at the weekend revealed that not only was the management of NIS not consulted on the plan for employment of junior cadre officers, which is the primary responsibility of the Comptroller-General (CGI), the service was mandated by the Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, to conduct the exercise, at a very short notice, with no logistics.
