Egypt: Abdel Nour - Arab Ministers Highlight Importance of Renewable Energy

The Arab states have agreed on the importance of developing resources of renewable energy, Egypt's minister of industry foreign trade and investment said on Saturday.

Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said the agreement came by Arab finance and economy ministers at their preparatory meetings for the 25th Arab Summit that will be held in Kuwait on March 25-26.

The ministers asserted that the Arab world should have such kind of energy as it already enjoyed capabilities of carrying out projects of renewable energy, Abdel Nour said.

He added that carrying out such projects entails concerting all efforts, and the availability of necessary financial and technological studies.
