Liberia: Over U.S.$500,000 Missing At Cuttington - GAC Reveals

The General Auditing Commission through its audit has established that the administration of the Cuttington University has failed to account for US$508,626.00 allotted to that institution for the fiscal years 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 by the Government of Liberia.

According to the GAC audit report, covering the periods 2006/2007 through 2011/2012, the amount was intended to provide room and board for students, give professional nursing instruction, and provide recreational facilitates as well as procure, install and commission a reliable students' record information management system on campus.
