Angola: Integrated Infrastructures Project Launched in Saurimo

The Ministry of Urbanisation and Housing last Tuesday handed over to the Norafrica S.A building firm the project for the construction of integrated infrastructures in Saurimo City, eastern Lunda Sul Province, a ceremony that was witnessed by the incumbent governor, Cândida Narciso, and the Urbanisation minister, José Silva.

On the occasion, the director of urban infrastructures of the Urbanisation Ministry, Fernando Francisco, said that the ceremony marks the start of the implementation of the programme of integrated infrastructures for Saurimo City and the sustainable development of the province, in general.

This first stage will cover the residential zones in the surroundings of the local airport, youth housing complex, police infastructures and houses for technicians of the Provincial Government.
