Western Sahara: United Left Party Renews Support to Saharawis Cause

Murcia — The Regional Coordinator of United Left in the Region of Murcia (Spain) Mr. José Antonio Pujante has reiterated his party's support to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, calling on the Spanish government to assume its political and moral responsibility in Western Sahara.

In a meeting held Tuesday with the Polisario Front's Representative in Murcia Mr. Mohamed Labat Mustafa, the United Left Party official called for the release of all Saharawis political prisoners, unveil the whereabouts of more than 500 civilians missing and 515 prisoners of war, and to stop the pillaging of Western Sahara natural resources.
