ONLY 500 cases of tuberculosis were detected in Taita Taveta in 2013, county health director John Logedi has said. He said said two among the detected cases were Multi-drug resistant TB.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the World TB day at Mwatate town on Monday, Logedi said he is optimistic the county is succeeding in the war against TB as the prevalence rate is currently below 0.017 per cent.
