Gambian Deejay Waxing Stronger in Norway

Deejay Gully Man, is a Gambian selector currently making name in Norway and Europe at large. Born Buba Marong, the hit maker was born in early 80s in the famous Gambian town Serekunda. Actually, his music journey started way back in 2001 with a friend and a brother called DJ LMB and after few years, he traveled to Europe and became a club DJ in Norway. Gully Man is currently working as a selector in one of the best and famous radio stations in Oslo, called Oslo radio. In an interview with What's On, the Norway based selector explained that his focus is centered on how to develop music back home, as he is currently working with so many local and international DJs and artistes to promote and develop music and musicians in The Gambia.

"I have chosen selecting as a career because I have realized that it has huge importance attached to music, besides DJs are the backbone of musicians. We work day by day with them and our fingers are always been crossed to ensure that maximum entertainment is rendered to the audience", he said.
