Angola: Agriculture Minister Defends Training of Rural Young People

The minister of Agriculture, Afonso Pedro Canga, Friday in Tunis, Tunisia, said that Africa to win the hunger and poverty challenge by 2025, the governments should invest seriously in young people and women particularly rural young women.

Afonso Pedro Canga, who was speaking at the 28th plenary session of Regional Conference of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Africa, stressed that the biggest Africa richness is young people.

Speaking to the head of FAO and to his African counterparts, the Minister of Agriculture said that is necessary to top down the priorities of actions to be developed in order to elect those to be implemented and make an Africa free from hunger.

The head of Angolan delegation at the 28th ministerial session on Regional Conference of FAO/Africa defended a bigger investment in the cattle breeding as it is the main source of African people richness.
