Ethiopia: Make Way for the Train

The eagerly awaited Addis Ababa City Light Rail Way Transit project, with a total length of 34.5km is completed more than 50 percent. The project has two routes - a 16.9-km section running from north to south, and a 17.35-km section stretching from east to west. The two sections run parallel for 2.7 km.

Here, seen on the picture, the project has reached yet another milestone, on March 27, 2014, where parallel paths of the two routes are being laid at Meskel square, on the way to Stadium.
