Gambia: Gaffer 'Expects a Lot' From U-20 - As Young Scorpions Win First Test

Gaffer Tapha Manneh is hopeful of his side's chances of qualifying after the U-20s bullied a selection of local-based players on Wednesday. It took two undoubted moments of brilliance from Real de Banjul's goal assassin Madi Fatty to down a hastily assembled Gambia senior team outfit who had just two days of collective training.

The victory, considered highly crucial by Coach Tapha Manneh following his team's first pass of assignment, comes ahead of the Young Scorpions' must-win duel against Liberia in Monrovia April 6th. U-20 Wednesday's opponent comprised mostly its former players and others who had been trimmed from the current youth team set-up as a result of age issue. But Coach Tapha Manneh remains buoyant 'expecting lot' from his charges.
