Amnesty International has called on the United Nations and African Commission on Human Rights to begin war crimes probe of the Boko Haram killings and reprisals by security forces.
Amnesty said in a new report released yesterday that an increase in attacks by Boko Haram and uncontrolled reprisals by Nigeria's security forces has seen the death toll in the North East rise to at least 1,500 people in the last three month.
