Egypt - Case of Shura Council Incidents Adjourned to April 9

Cairo: — Cairo Criminal Court, during today's hearing at Police Trustees Institute, adjourned the case, known in media as "Shura Council" incidents, to April 9. The court also ordered the seizure of prosecution witnesses and allowed the defense of defendants to extract all documents demanded in the minutes. Furthermore, the court fined Mr. Khaled Abu Kersha EGP50 for the non-attendance without any causes, while Mahmoud Abu Saif was jailed and referred to the Prosecution for chanting offensive phrases. As per the seventh defendant was sent to the forensic examination.
