Ghana: Nokia Introduces Two New Lumia Phones on to Ghana Market

In its quest to capture a large share of the smartphone market globally, Nokia has released yet another exciting, innovative, sophisticated but simple Lumia 1520, its top of the range windows Phones and the affordable Lumia 1320.

The Lumia 1520 is widely regarded as the world's most innovative smart phone, runs on Windows 8 operating system and comes with a 6-inch 1080p vivid full HD display screen, enhanced start screen featuring an additional 3rd column of live tiles allowing people to get to their favourite apps faster with less ease and scrolling.

It also features a 20Mega Pixel (MP) Pure-View camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), oversampling technology and zooming capabilities that would enable brilliant and easy photo capture, high quality pictures edit and better stories telling.

Reviewing both devices, Head, Customer Care and Logistics, Nokia West and Central Africa, Kolawole Osinowo said Nokia would always make devices that would serve and lighten up the world by inventing technologies that would make life rosy and easy.

With the story teller app embedded in the phone he said it was designed in a fashion that it combined their mapping technology and camera technology app to help people tell their stories in the pictures they took. These combinations he revealed was first launched in the Lumia 1520.

The phone, he added, does not make a person only human but superhuman. It provides the ambition to do more on the go, adding that it possesses a "stunning design" characterized with simplicity, refinement of expression, reliving your moments with story teller, create and share features" he reiterated.

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Nokia West and Central Africa, Olumide Balogun noted that the introduction these gadgets ( Lumia 1520&1320) will revolutionize the smart phone market and boost their competitive edge in the "phablet" ccategory.

"Both devices come pre-installed with business and productivity applications and a unique new photography applications called the storyteller app which allows people tell stories of places they've visited using pictures.

The story teller app seamlessly merges two Lumia signature experiences, PureView imaging and Here maps, to allow users relive their photos in a new, dynamic and interactive way" he stated.
