Egypt: Police Officer Killed, Others Wounded in Cairo University Attack

Cairo — An Egyptian police officer was killed and five others were wounded in two explosions outside Cairo University early on Wednesday, the interior ministry said.

The bombs went off near a police vehicle parked by the university's campus, a security source told Reuters.

Security forces have closed roads leading to the university while they combed the area for the perpetrators.
