Namibia: Photos Invited for Photo Competition

The eLearning Africa is back again with its fifth edition of "Through your Lens" Photo Competition under the theme Social Africa: building bridges through Information and communications technology (ICT) calling on photographers to submit snapshots depicting how ICT is enhancing the way individuals and communities in Africa live, learn, cooperate and connect.

Contributions from all sectors and walks of life including young and aspiring photographers are requested to take snapshots that show how communication tools and information technologies can build bridges and foster relationships between people and must be accompanied by a brief outline of the inspiration behind their idea. The winners will be picked by an expert panel of judges and a public vote, and prizes include a tablet personal computer (PC), a digital camera and an mp3 player. Participation is free and the ten best photos will be featured at an exhibition at this year's eLearning Africa conference.
