Tunisia: NCA VP Receives Young Tunisian Expatriates in Annaba, Tebessa

Bardo — First Vice-President of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Meherzia Labidi received, on Wednesday in Tunis, young Tunisian expatriates in Annaba and Tebessa, Algeria.

Labidi gave an outline of the new Tunisian Constitution and the different stages of its drafting as part of dialogue.

She said dialogue helped produce a text that meets the objectives of the Revolution of liberty and dignity and stands as a model of preserving identity and openness.

The official also put stress on the importance of the action of the NCA with regard to the electoral law and the bill providing for the creation of the provisional constitutional review authority.

The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the role of young Tunisians in the success of democratic transition.
